To mark the end of Seachtain na Gaeilge we had a fabulous concert in the school hall today. Junior and Senior Infants sang some Irish songs and said Irish poems. First class played “Hot Cross Buns” and ” Mary Had a Little Lamb” on their tin whistles and sang an Irish song. Our talented staff also got involved in the concert with Mr. Fitzgerald, Ms O Shea, Ms O Sullivan, Ms Jones and Ms McAuliffe playing some Irish music on their instruments and Siobhan and Ms McCarthy sang two beautiful songs. A special mention to Mr Fitzgerald’s Dad Tony who also joined our musicians on stage. It was a fantastic day. Take a look at the clips below:
