DetailsWe are delighted that Matt Browne (Munster Rugby Development Officer) will be coming to our school every Wednesday for a couple of weeks. He will take Junior Infants for the first 3 weeks, then senior infants and finally finish up with first class. Junior Infants had so much fun today. They really enjoyed it.
DetailsWe were delighted to launch our new “Active Walkway” on March 16th by having our St. Patrick’s Day Parade around the school. We have 15 posters up around the school so the children loved walking to each of them. It was a great day. DetailsFor the next few weeks the children will be going for walks and hoping to reach different destinations around the country. 1 lap of the park = 1km. We are hoping to walk to Doneraile Park (17km) Thomond Park (36km) Blarney Castle (48km) Fota Wildlife Park (58km) Croke Park (199km)
DetailsTo celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the children can wear green to school on Wednesday, March 16th.
The school will close at 12 noon on Wednesday March 16th to facilitate staff training re Primary Language Curriculum. The school will be closed on Thursday March 17th and Friday March 18th. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
