The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is currently running the Nationwide Road Safety Education Service in primary schools, which is called The Seatbelt Sheriff and it’s a free resource aimed at primary schools focusing on education around pedestrian safety, cycle safety and safety in the car and the bus.
The first class boys and girls met The Seatbelt Sheriff last week and heard all about being safe when out walking or cycling and safety when in a car. The children got a Seatbelt Sheriff badge and certificate at the end of the workshop.
