We had a fabulous week in school celebrating “Wellbeing Week”. For Wellbeing Week the children and their teachers participated in daily activities such as mindfulness sessions, lots of exercise, games, zumba, and yoga. Wellbeing week provided the children with the knowledge, skills and tools to manage their mental health and wellbeing.
The theme for the week were Mindful Monday where all classes went for a Mindful walk in the park, Thoughtfull Tuesday where all classes did some art work, Wellness Wednesday where the kids did zumba, Thankful Thursday where everyone wore odd socks to celebrate our uniqueness and on Feel good Friday we got to wear our favourite clothes.
