This week we celebrated ‘World Nursery Rhyme Week’. It was so much fun! Thank you to Ms. McAuliffe for organising fabulous activities for all of the classes. The First Classes helped Junior and Senior Infants to make puppets for a Nursery Rhyme and to perform a Puppet Show. Nursery Rhymes and Rhymes are very important for developing oral language skills and phonological awareness skills (the ability to hear sounds in words) among children.
