Mrs. Sheahan and Yuliia are running the Young Interpreters programme. This is a fantastic initiative that provides peer support to pupils who are learning English as an Additional Language (EAL). Our First class pupils mentor our new Junior Infant pupils and help them to feel settled and welcome in their new environment. This scheme also develops the confidence, communication and leadership skills of the Young Interpreters. The girls and boys are really enjoying it!
