We are delighted to have Miriam in school with us every Thursday to do drama with all the classes. We are learning so much and really enjoying it!

We had a brilliant day in school today. Firstly we had a school parade around the school. We had a concert to celebrate being from Ireland. We sang lots of Irish songs, said Irish poems, and played the tin whistle. It was a great day. We are very proud in our school to have been awarded a Yellow Flag for inclusion and diversity. On Thursday, March 7th a group of students and teachers travelled to Dublin to represent St. Joseph’s at the official ceremony where they were presented with the Yellow Flag. The school will close on Friday, March 22nd for the Easter Holidays. It will reopen again on Monday, April 8th. Happy Easter everyone!!

We are celebrating World Book Day in School on Thursday, March 7th. The children can dress up as their favourite book character to school that day. Halloween costumes can be worn too.
We had a fabulous week in school celebrating “Wellbeing Week”. For Wellbeing Week the children and their teachers participated in daily activities such as mindfulness sessions, lots of exercise, games, zumba, and yoga.
