Our EAL pupils had a great time learning about Seachtain na Gaeilge and St. Patrick’s Day.
Our Green Schools Committee have been very busy painting birdhouses and bug hotels for our school garden. They did a super job!!
To mark the end of Seachtain na Gaeilge we had a fabulous concert in the school hall today. Junior and Senior Infants sang some Irish songs and said Irish poems. First class played “Hot Cross Buns” and ” Mary Had a Little Lamb” on their tin whistles and sang an Irish song. Our talented staff…

This week is Seachtain na Gaeilge and today first class took part in a Trath na gCeist. It was a fantastic event where the children had great fun answering questions.
As part of our Read and Raise fundraiser and it being World Book Week, we teamed up with St. Anne’s Primary School where their pupils read books to our pupils. It was a fabulous initiative and everyone enjoyed it!!
We had a great day in school celebrating World Book Day! The kids dressed up in fabulous costumes as their favourite book characters. We read and listened to lots of books throughout the day. We also visited the local library. It was a great day!!
